Booksmart: Brand Sense [Martin Lindstrom]

Martin Lindstrom got an early and quite definitive jump on being the official spokesperson for five-sense marketing. I read this when it first came out while researching some essays for my MBA, and revisited recently as we’ve been exploring olfactory marketing at Daily with Dr. Koan Baysa. He’s linked with some of the top chemists and Noses in the fragrance industry, is a regular contributor to aRUDE magazine on related topics, and once curated a contemporary art show featuring a number of curious scents one could sample from beneath a domed enclosure. Anyway, Lindstrom’s “Brand Sense” is a great primer. ~ Colin Mangham
