Speaking at Impact Conference – Miami Beach, FL

I will be speaking again at this year’s Impact Conference along with Sustainatopia in Miami Beach, April 16-22, 2013. The conference will be attended by hundreds of fellow changemakers from over 40 countries, all inspiring and driving innovation and investment for social impact. Topics include:

  • Capital
  • Knowledge
  • Networks
  • Social Entrepreneurs
  • Social Business Intermediaries and Accelerators
  • Diaspora
  • Best Practices
  • Metrics

One of the panels I will be speaking on is focused on and titled as “The New Regenerative Economy (Ending Depletion as de Rigueur).” It’s a great topic and forum for spotlighting the social and environmental impact benefit of biomimicry thinking – looking to our neighboring organisms and natural forms, processes and systems for inspiration in how we design, engineer, architect, and even develop sustainable businesses.

We are also planning a brief intro to biomimicry session during the conference. Details to come. Please drop me a line if you’re planning to attend and would like to connect while there.
